Mass Torts Made Perfect, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2020, is a bi-annual conference held in the spring and fall of each year in Las Vegas. Both conferences are designed for individuals working in the area of plaintiff mass torts, personal injury and class actions. The conferences are the largest plaintiff mass torts gatherings in the world, attracting more than 1,800 participants from around the country at each event. Subject matter varies depending on the litigation landscape, but the program always includes the latest on new and emerging projects, including prescription drugs, medical devices, defective products, and consumer fraud.
It has become the key gathering place for the promotion of mass tort and class action litigation, with virtually every major plaintiff’s law firm and lawyer in the field attending the event.
During the COVID crisis, MTMP has pivoted to doing online conferences and webinars exclusively. MTMP Connect includes MTMP Connect Litigation webinars, MTMP Connect Paralegal College, and MTMP Connect International Legal Institute programs. Under these brands, MTMP provides webinars monthly in the areas of mass torts, class actions, international litigation, and training for paralegals. The MTMP Virtual Vegas conferences attract lawyers, paralegals and vendors from around the country to join together for two days of networking, news, and entertainment — our inaugural Virtual Conference in October 2020 featured author and actor Matthew McConaughey.
